Is Headhunters Bar From Bar Rescue Still Open? Celebrity ·

Headhunters in Austin, Texas, which was on season 3 of Bar Rescue has closed. When the bar appeared on Bar Rescue, it was renamed to Metal & Lace, and that name stuck for a bit, but looking at their Facebook page, it seems they reverted to Headhunters on all of their ads/flyers.

Handlebar Cafe, later slightly renamed to Handlebar and Grill, was a Pawcatuck, Connecticut bar that was featured on Season 3 of Bar Rescue. Though the Handlebar Cafe Bar Rescue episode aired in July 2013, the actual filming and visit from Jon Taffer took place before that.

Pro’s Sports Bar was renamed to BR Steak and is open. Reviews after Bar Rescue are mixed with compliments to the food but some complaints about drinks and service. Myerz PourHouse was renamed to The Study Lounge and is open with new owners as of 2018.

Why did Das Brauhaus close?

New England’s Ale House Grille was renamed to Das Brauhaus and closed in May 2019 due to Tara struggling to juggle the bar with her family. Reviews are mostly positive after the episode was filmed.

Joe’s Thirsty Lizard Bar and Grill was renamed to The Iron Horse and closed in August 2019. The bar was sold to new owners and is now the Lazy Lizard.

Sam Jordan’s Bar and Grill closed in November 2019 due to their high debts and was put up for sale in April 2019. It was removed from sale for three months whilst the tried to keep the business going but was put back up for sale in July 2019.

Island Bar and Grill closed after their licence was revoked following a shooting outside the bar by a bouncer and the bar was viewed as unsafe by the city officials.

The bar was renamed to Murphy’s Law during the Bar Rescue episode. Mystique Lounge closed in 2013 and the building was abandoned. The bar was renamed to Aura Nightclub. The Olive Pit is open. The bar was renamed to O.P and all of the furniture Jon added was removed.

The bar was renamed to Hammer & Ales. Marley’s on the Beach closed in November 2013 due to personal reasons. The bar was renamed to Marley’s Beach Club as they disliked the name Jon proposed. Rocky Point Cantina closed in August 2013 and was renamed briefly to Havana Cabana Bar and Grill.

They dropped the Madame from the name as it made them sound like a brothel and sales had improved.
